Despite the intimate and secluded setting, Hot Springs National Park/Lake Hamilton is less than 30 minutes and is easily accessible with a scenic drive down Hwy 270 (scenic drive!!!). Nearby hills and mountains offer some of the best trails for those looking for ATV fun or a good hike. The viewpoints are amazing!!! The boat launch for lake Ouachita is only 10 minutes away and nearby resorts offer many lake activities including fishing, boating, kayaking, and scuba diving. Head on over to the nearby crystal mines where you can dig for crystals! Come back home to enjoy a fire, the hot tub, or a selection of DVDs and games.

Internet: The wi-fi speed may not be adequate if you are looking to do remote work. Cell signal is strong (depending on your carrier) and some people have found personal hotspots through their phones to be okay for work as needed. For those looking to unplug and unwind, this property may be more suited for that.
Note: Despite having guardrails, we do not recommend leaving children unattended on the balconies. The property has a lot of dry leaves on the ground -- therefore, we ask that you do not shoot fireworks from this property as doing so could create fire risks. The property is located off of highway 270 in between Mt. Ida and Hot Springs, and the road to the property is paved. We suggest using online maps for directions. For those looking for an interesting drive, the mountains to the south of the property have some rugged, scenic, and unpaved routes. We would recommend 4-wheel drive/truck/SUV to those looking for that mountain drive.
