5,200 acre Estate on Kings River with Lodge that sleeps 20. | House in Eureka Springs

8 Bedroom House in Eureka Springs
The Kings River is one of Arkansas’ iconic Ozark rivers, a favorite of anglers and paddlers alike. In addition to trophy small mouth bass, this beloved river provides habitat for more than a dozen rare aquatic animals. And now you can experience it first hand at The Nature Conservancy’s Kings River Deck House. With the support of generous members, neighbors and partners, the Conservancy owns approximately 5,200 beautiful acres on 10 miles of the Kings River just south of Eureka Springs. The property includes a historic lodge and bungalows which are now available for rental. The Kings River Deck House is a fun, rustic setting for family reunions, corporate retreats, or weekend getaways with friends. HISTORIC CHARM The historic deck house, secluded on a bluff overlooking the Kings River valley, was built as a retreat by the Liedtke family of Houston in 1970 and maintains the character of the original mid-century modern design. Complementing the deck house are two updated bungalows nestled in the woods. All accommodations include modern amenities for an enjoyable visit, but maintain their original charm… and all feature a gorgeous landscape right outside your door.
AMENITIES Combined, the deck house and two bungalows sleep 20 people. A favorite feature of the deck house is a large, wraparound wooden deck with a beautiful view of the Trigger Gap Valley portion of the Kings River Preserve. The Deck house sleeps 12 people in two private bedrooms with two twin beds each and two sleeping lofts with four twin beds each. There are two full bathrooms, a large updated kitchen, and a cozy den centered around a grand fireplace. The entire back of the house is enclosed by picture windows allowing you to enjoy the outdoors even when you are inside. A two mile trail will connect the deck house to a bluff over the river this April. Nearby mountain bike trails include Pension Mountain in Berryville and Lake Leatherwood in Eureka Springs.
Each of the guest bungalows sleeps four people total, in two bedrooms. Each bedroom has two twin beds and a connected private bath. Each bungalow has its own porch and view of the valley. There is a communal outdoor pavilion with a barbecue grill for guest use.
***GATHERINGS DURING YOUR STAY THAT INCLUDE MORE THAN 24 GUESTS REQUIRE A $1000 EVENT/PROPERTY FEE***
