What We Love
If you are seeking a remote getaway, this is your cabin. Perfect for a group holiday, this woodsy retreat is made up of two cabins approximately a half-mile apart from each other.
Wake up and sip your coffee while taking in the dew-covered valley nestled in the mountains. Enjoy direct access to the water with a fishing pond (bring your own gear) and a channel that leads to a lake when the water levels are high. Launch one of the provided kayaks or canoe, or bring a smaller boat, like a Jon Boat, for fun on the water (just check that there’s been enough rain).
Spanning 2,300 square feet, the log cabin features a lodge-like interior with wood floors and high ceilings. Find a large TV in the living area and upscale stainless steel appliances in the well-equipped kitchen. A beautiful deck with a gas grill and a covered outdoor dining area invites cookouts at home.
In the stone cabin, find 1,110 square feet of charming living space. Highlights include a cozy fireplace and a well-equipped kitchen (dishwasher not included).
Each home offers a wood-burning firepit and a private laundry area. The log cabin is outfitted with high-powered air-conditioning units, while the stone cabin has window units for air-conditioning.
This home offers convenient access to fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and swimming. You’ll also find plenty of trails nearby. McGee Creek Refuge is 1.8 miles away and offers a great lake and a boat ramp.
