Bring your fishing gear and cast a line in the pond, or swim in the on-site channel. When the water levels are high, launch one of the provided kayaks or the canoe and follow the stream to the lake. If bringing your own boat, opt for a smaller one, like a Jon Boat, for fun on the water (make sure to check that there’s been enough rain).
After your explorations, unwind outside your cabin and swap stories around the wood-burning firepit. Or head inside to get cozy around the fireplace and watch a movie on the wall-mounted TV. A well-equipped kitchen provides everything you’ll need to whip up delicious home-cooked meals. (The full kitchen does not have a dishwasher.) Window air-conditioning units provide cooling as needed.
