Located along the St. Clair River at the apex of nostalgic Broadway and Marine City’s Nautical Mile sits Harbor House. In the morning, enjoy the sunrise over the river while the ships pass. Later, head out your door and explore the many antique shops on Broadway or visit the various Parks, Shops and Restaurants along the river. Have kids? we are situated conveniently between the City Beach and Harbor Park. When the day is done, sit around the fire pit on the water and recap your great day.
The space
Situated on the St. Clair River is the charming Harbor House; a unique waterfront 30's Era craftsman duplex featuring stonework, expansive covered front porch & hardwood floors thru-out.
This floor includes a private master bedroom with a King-size bed and a sunroom separated from the living room by a privacy screen containing a large day bed. There are also 2 twin roll-away beds and a 21" tall, pillow-top self-inflating queen size air mattress. These may be placed in either the sunroom alongside the day bed or in the oversized water facing living room which also contains a sleeper sofa. Aside from the sofa bed, the living room seats an additional 5 persons and has a gas burning fireplace. This is a new B & B so all the linens are new and much of it has been freshly painted or is in the process of being updated. This floor also includes a very large kitchen and eat-in water facing dining area that seats 6 people.
Outside, the waterfront has a covered patio with outdoor seating as well as a firepit surrounded by 4 Adirondack chairs. There is a additional free parking to the south and the City Park / Beach is the to the North

This listing is for Floor 1 of the Harbor House. There is also a 2nd Floor that is used as an owners residence from time to time. Each unit has it's own private entrance and the house has solid walls and floors which allows for privacy and isolation. Laundry Room on-Premise available upon request.
