Originally a family residence, it later became a general store (with handwritten signs for corn bushels still discovered!), then the Mayville Lodge in the 1920s, welcoming fairground visitors with meals included. Today, it’s been thoughtfully revived to host modern-day gatherings — without losing its charm or character.
