Summary: Check-in was easy with key in a lockbox. Owners were responsive to our texts and questions. Cabin is at the top of a steep gravel drive and the site was very private and quiet. It is very pet friendly. Loved that there were gates at both ends of the wraparound porch and one led to a fenced in yard, so your dog could roam freely on the deck with you. The pine interior walls were beautiful. Breakfast bar was handy.Not quite as advertised though. We were unable to use the pots and pans because of how damaged/scratched the nonstick surfaces were. There were no baking pans. The linens on the beds and towels were worn and torn in some places. There was no hairdryer; however, the landlord was very responsive and brought one quickly. No soap for the shower, just antibacterial hand soap on the sink. The bathroom closet door was propped up by a table; when we tried to look for the hairdryer, the door fell on us. There were trails advertised on the property, but no map or information as to length, trailhead, loop or not--a road overgrown with grass, not maintained. The appliances are functional but dated (rusty).
