Theriver cuts through the southern Ouachita Mountains of the Ozarks, where wildlife and plant life are abundant. Fishing for walleye, white, spotted, largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, longear and other species of sunfish and channel, blue and flathead catfish are excellent.
