Only 60 miles from Houston, the Cabin at the Cape has so much to offer due to its proximity to the lake, nature, and wildlife! Cape Royale is a peaceful, gated community that has direct access to Lake Livingston and 5 wonderful lake front parks.

Come stay and enjoy all the activities you can dream of at your fingertips: free fiber optic Wifi, boating, fishing, kayaking, keyboard, basketball, soccer, volleyball, swimming, biking, hiking, stargazing, birdwatching, reading, writing, coloring, playing board games, watching movies, and more!

EXTERIOR:

Sit on the upper deck patio to watch the stars or gather around the chiminea telling stories while enjoying a beverage. Play some Ladder Ball on the spacious back patio that overlooks the trees while the burgers cook on the charcoal BBQ. Our downstairs covered side patio is great for those rainy mornings. Bring your water toys and use the Cape Royale boat ramp to launch. Walk around the windy and hilly neighborhood for a good workout or hit the Lonestar Trail in Sam Houston National Forest.

INTERIOR:

Bedroom 1: 3 twin beds, a desk, games, closet.

Bedroom 2: cozy Queen bed, chest of drawers, closet, mirror.

Bedroom 3: King suite, chest of drawers, connects to private bathroom and has private back patio access. Extra bedding in closet for the sofa bed in downstairs living room.

Bedroom 4: The only bedroom upstairs with its own full bathroom, 2 Queen beds, a closet, a chest of drawers and a desk in case you need to work from home. Extra bedding in black dresser for upstairs futon.

Downstairs living room: two large sofas & two lounge chairs, one sofa being a pull-out sofa bed. TV & DVD player with a variety of movies, a Roku stick to stream all your shows, and a basket full of blankets to cuddle up with on the couch.

Dining room: seats 8 guests, 2 can overflow to kitchen island or the outdoor table that seats 4. Washer and dryer are inside closet next to pantry. Dining room opens up to the fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking and entertaining needs. Enough serving ware for 11 guests. Basic things like salt/pepper/oil provided.

Upstairs game room has plenty of board games, books, movies, a keyboard, vinyl record player, and more to keep you busy no matter the weather! Toys, games and books for all ages. Futon pulls out into a full bed and the adjacent upstairs balcony has some seating for you to enjoy.

Please note that while we accept children of all ages, it is not the most “child safe” property as it has stairs inside and outside the home. Please be extra cautious with your children and elderly folks. Thank you and make yourself at home!
