The Sargent/Caney Creek area offers friendly folks, fishing in Matagorda Bays, surf fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, fishing in Caney Creek (guides available), duck hunting, bird-watching, beach-combing, skiing, wake boarding, boat riding, or just relaxing. Fun fishing right off the private pier -- day or night under 2 (1000 watt one green one white) fishing lights – is available. The private dock will accommodate 3 bay boats or several jet skis. The free, neighborhood boat launch is just 1/8 mile down the road where you can launch your own boat.
