Niangua Hills Resort, located on the 5MM of the Big Niangua at the Lake of the Ozarks in Camdenton, offers the ease of booking a vacation rental with the desired amenities of staying at a resort. We are under new ownership, as of March 2022, and have undergone a complete renovation, with more still to come! Guests will be able to relax in this no wake cove, fish in our enclosed fish house and swim the day away from our swimming platform.
Arnholdt's Mill Cabin #11 is named in honor of one of the towns that now lie at the bottom of the lake, the town of Arnholdt's Mill. This cozy cabin offers one of the best views of the lake from the resort. Guests can enjoy a quiet morning sipping coffee on the private deck, while watching the fish cranes catch their breakfast. In this cabin, you will enjoy being close to the water's edge, with an easy walk to the enclosed fish house and the swimming dock. Cabin #11 has been newly renovated and now features a new kitchenette with new appliances, a new bathroom with a beautiful tile shower, new floors, fresh paint, new bedding, new mattresses, new furniture throughout the cabin and the installation of an efficient mini-split air unit. The master bedroom features a new king size bed and the second bedroom features one new queen bed and one bunk bed.
Years ago, this cabin was located at another resort down the water's edge from Niangua Hills Resort. The cabin was torn down and rebuilt on the new resort grounds and still features the original pine walls, which dates this structure to the area of it's time.
This cabin is not pet-friendly. If you desire bringing your pet on vacation, please reserve a pet-friendly cabin, as noted in the description.
You'll welcome being close to great Lake area activities, while having peace and quiet on the resort property! Family friendly restaurants and swimming pools can be enjoyed at Captain Ron's and the new The Cave Bar & Grill, both just around the corner via boat or vehicle. The fishing here is great since we are located at the confluence of the Big Niangua River and the Little Niangua River. The Lake of the Ozarks is well known as one of the best fishing destinations in America! For guests looking to enjoy nature, you can hike trails and see the castle ruins and one of Missouri's best state parks, Ha Ha Tonka, just a short 20-minute drive away. Whether you love fishing, hiking, water skiing, boating, swimming, live music, shopping, kayaking or reading a book in the shade, you will find it all here, at Niangua Hills Resort.
Additional resort amenities guests have access to include a newly upgraded playground, an enclosed fish house, a large community swim dock, lots of green, outdoor space, and amazing sunsets. Resort amenities include boat slips, kayak and paddle board rentals, an enclosed fish house, a community swim dock, self-serve ice chest on-site, an updated playground, overflow parking for additional vehicles and boat trailers, on-site laundry facilities, Direct TV, a community pavilion, fire pits and charcoal bbq grills, linens provided and no-wake cove location.
Wi-Fi is currently not available, although will be installed as soon as it becomes available. Guests are encouraged to use this time to truly unwind.
By Memorial Day 2023, guests will also be able to enjoy our swimming pool and shortly afterwards, the addition of a lakeside beach. What more could you ask for in a lake vacation?!
