This farmhouse is nestled in a beautiful, serene hollow located in the Ozark Mountains on an old homestead. The house has been built around a hand hewn log cabin built in the mid 1800’s. Just a short half mile from the highway, at the end of the road that opens up to 165 acres with 5 springs and one of those is right next to the patio. You will find this property very private, peaceful and relaxing, perfect for that person who wants to experience an old farm homestead or just a nice quiet place to relax. Located minutes from Mountain View’s downtown shopping area, yet you’ll feel like you are miles away on a secluded farm.
Conveniently located near area attractions, this rustic farmhouse offers a cozy setting for your Ozark getaway. The kitchen has been updated with gas cook stove and convection oven, 2 bedrooms with queen beds and new comfy mattresses, a new master bath, another full bath located next to 2nd bedroom and near living area. A full-size futon in the old cabin room, a twin size daybed in the living area.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the large covered porch or on the patio just outside the kitchen and gather around the fire pit in the evenings.
The Space:
Due to this property being a small hobby farm, No dogs or cats allowed, and guest will be asked to leave immediately if they bring pets of any kind and no there will be no refund. This is due to farm animals located on the property with livestock guardian dogs on the premises. These dogs are not mean or vicious, and they stay with the animals. Do not approach the farm animals without a farm hand being present and do not approach the dogs. Again, they are friendly dogs, but they have a job to do. We asked guest to please not feed the dogs table scraps or any "human" food. They are fed their special feed only.

~Dogs, cats and other pets are not allowed
~No loud noise or parties
~Absolutely no UTV's, ATV’s, Trailers, or Campers allowed
~Number of guests cannot exceed the maximum occupancy as stated in the listing
~It should be noted that this property is a small hobby farm, chickens and other small farm animals are on the premises and you may encounter them. They are not roaming freely, but they are in their areas, and if you roam around the farm, you will encounter them.
Also, this property is located in a rural area of the Ozarks, where you will find many different forms of wildlife. Raccoons, deer, mice, snakes, eagles, wild hogs, black bear, skunks, and opossums are common, and may be a nuisance at certain times of the year. Other pests such as ants, wasps, mosquitos, spiders, bees, flies, and gnats also live nearby. Each property has a regular/quarterly pest control device, but we cannot guarantee against Guests seeing any animals or pests during their stay and no refunds will be made for this.
Interaction with Guests:
I am available by text, call, or email as needed between 9 AM and 9PM. There will be daily chores done around the barn, near the cabin, so you will see someone coming in and out to tend to the animals. We will not bother you and will be in and out quickly.
