Summary: This hotel obviously had been remodeled and NOT in a good way either. The floor in my room had not been vacuumed at all. The hair dryer did not work at all either. There was a lightswitch that was on the wall as soon as you walked in the room, ywt there was no light overhead so I walked into a dark room. There was only one working light in the room next to the bed, and when I went to ask the front desk for 2 new light bulbs she felt it necessary to come to my room and attempt to change the non working light bulbs out herself. When that didn't work she called maintenance and he came to my room and changed out the light bulbs. We then found out the desk lamp was going out, so he took it. Then he started unplugging cords, and then plugging them in different sockets. Please do NOT get me started on the inadequate selection for breakfast!! That was quite pitiful actually. Cereal (raisin bran and frosted flakes), orange juice and apple juice, coffee, tea. That was it!!!! Seriously? Now the parking situation was a total nut show. That property needs to lose the Super 8 Flag if it's going to be run by third world nationals who can not keep up with the requirements set forth by Wyndham and Super 8

Summary: The room was decent; it was odd to see a flat sheet as a fitted sheet. It was superficially clean, and they used the bed bug mattress covers. I was surprised that there was no blanket on the bed, just a sheet and their decorative bed cover. They clearly don't mop the floors between guests, but I always wear slippers in hotel rooms. I found it inappropriate that a big, red work truck was parked in the only marked handicap parking spot. They absolutely do not have a breakfast of any kind, cereal, but no milk. The air conditioning was fine, no problems there. The staff was fine, not particularly friendly, but efficient, and that is enough for me. Nothing fabulous, but nothing to make me not stay there again.

Summary: Staff was kind during checking. However, the room was not clean in the bathroom and sink area; mold on shower, exhaust fan dust on towels, toilet, and floor, hair and other debris on floor in both areas. The beds had only a sheet and a super thin bed runner which made temperature control hard and caused us to adjust the ac a few times throughout the night - not a restful sleep. Several outlets didn’t work and we didn’t realize it until the morning and found my devices weren’t charged…went through three other outlets before I found one that worked.
The lower level rooms had a thick, white substance on the carpet along the walls that I couldn’t identify.
I had realistic expectations of staying at a Super 8, I didn’t expect anything fancy and would stay at another location, but would not stay at this one again!

Summary: Room was nice, but the bed was TERRIBLE. Staff was nice. Be careful walking around outside. The homeless in Columbia are terrible. They are so many, and they just sleep and camp where ever. This is not the fault of the hotel, it just is what it is.
