This is a rustic mountain cabin hand built by us with lots of charm. That being said, this listing is a low price for the area because of the additional challenges that come with a remote mountainous region. Please be mindful that a wilderness experience not only comes with peace and beautiful views, but also insects, wildlife, and the sites and sounds of our off grid community.

Accessibility in winter (November-April) is by snowmobile, ski or shoe only. The road is not plowed into the cabin.

Accessibility in summer/fall (May-October) needs a minimum of all-wheel drive and 4 x 4 is recommended. Rain and/or snow can happen anytime on the mountain and will make travel up and down our road difficult or impossible for some vehicles. There is parking at the bottom in this scenario.

Winter access suggestion:
(November - April) During Winter you'll want to access the space strictly by snow-based mobility. You can park at the Tie Hack Memorial Parking lot off of highway 20/26 and use snowmobiles, skis or snow shoes to access the Cabin. It’s about a 5 minute snowmobile ride from the parking lot to the Cabin and is roughly 1/2 mile "as the crow flies." There is room in the lot for trailers and trucks both in the lot. You can drive sleds directly from the Cabin to groomed trails on Togwotee mountain.
