This charming cabin is located on Sugar Mountain, less than one mile from Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, boasting winter favorites like skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and snow tubing. The resort transitions to mountain biking trails, chair lift rides, festivals, concert series, and more in the summer. The town of Banner Elk is 10 minutes away, with shopping, parks, playgrounds, and great local restaurants. A few other High Country attractions within 15 minutes include Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, Sugar Creek Gem Mining, Banner Elk Winery, and the Sugar Mountain Public Golf Course.
Nestled in the woods, Sweet Escape is a cozy mountain getaway with vaulted ceilings and a rubble stone, wood-burning fireplace. A large HDTV with comfortable seating and accommodations for 8 at the dining table and bar complete the open-concept living area. The kitchen provides everything needed for family meal times. There are two sleeping spaces, a Queen room and a room with 2 Twin beds, which share a full bathroom with a combo tub and shower.
On the Upper level is a Queen room with an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. On the lower level of this home, guests can enjoy a game room with a foosball table, an HDTV, and a Queen sleeper sofa. There is also a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.
With a porch with outdoor seating and a gas grill on the deck, the only thing missing is you! The cabin has Wi-Fi, cable programming, baseboard heat, and a washer and dryer. We strongly encourage 4-wheel drive and tire chains for winter travelers.
