The home is very secluded and on a heavily wooded property that offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Placer Valley is home to a variety of wildlife and this spectacular location affords opportunities to observe Elk, Deer and Foxes (just to name a few!) right on the property. Additionally, the wetland area located less than 2 miles from the home is one of the few areas where you may be able to see Moose in their natural habitat.
Upon entering the home, you are greeted by the airy and open feel of tall vaulted ceilings, custom stone work and unique spaces. The large entryway offers plenty of space to drop your adventure gear, so you can settle right in and unwind. Down the hallway to the well appointed kitchen, you will enjoy gorgeous Mountain views through the expansive window over the sink and the cooking area is outfitted with everything you'll need to whip up a favorite meal. The distinctive architecture of this home offers a wonderful high alpine experience, with a wood burning stove on a large stone hearth, an open concept living room with comfortable seating centered around the smart tv and dining space, all accented with Mountain Modern decor. Step out of the dining room entry door to the backyard, where steps from the door, a secluded hot tub awaits. Sink in for a long, hot soak after days filled with blue skies and adventures. The ground floor bedroom offers a small closet, large window, plush queen size bed, and a smart TV. The central ground floor bathroom is a split bathroom, with a large external vanity, then a private standard toilet with bidet, and a bathtub/shower combo.
Take the winding staircase to the upper level of the home, where you'll find two cozy bedrooms, both featuring incredible views, pillow soft, queen size beds and smart TVs.
