Summary: This home presented well on the website and actually filled our needs adequately, but the lack of attention to detail and cleanliness needs to be addressed.For instance: half the vertical slats in the living room shade were missing; the bathroom fan emitted a screeching noise and was non-functional; the bathtub backed up so showers were taken in ankle-deep water; baseboard heating in the bathroom covered in a thick layer of dust; flip top on kitchen garbage can was covered in a sticky residue; used q tips in master bedroom garbage can; unguarded electrical receptacle at mattress level in kids bedroom; bed blocking access to main electrical panel (NEC code violation). Worst of all from a cleanliness standpoint was the sand in the sheets of a made-up bed. Was that bedding washed? I'll guess no. Also,the key into the house was missing from the lockbox. After texting the contact and in the midst of placing a call to VRBO the key was located hanging on a nail near the exterior garage door. That was not mentioned in the check-in instructions so we spent a frantic 20 minutes scouring the garage. All in all this was a disappointing stay.
