Live like a local in this unique lake house only 10 minutes from Oaklawn. Beautiful views, a chef's kitchen, and a luxurious master bathroom are only a few of the many things that make this home special. This is not your cookie cutter vacation rental, this is a real family lake house with a ton of character and is the perfect way to get the full Hot Springs experience. This versatile space is intimate enough for a romantic getaway for two, while also being large enough to fit the full family.
The space
Welcome to The "Leake House" with LAKE VIEWS FROM EVERY ROOM! Renovated by an artist with a culinary school graduate daughter, the creativity expressed in this house is indescribable. Cyprus accents from South Arkansas, concrete counters poured by a local sculpture artist, and a copper ceiling in the large chef's kitchen complete with a Viking range and Sub-Zero refrigerator, barely scratch the surface of the unique qualities of this home.
There are 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The Master Suite has a private deck with lake views, is furnished with a king size Purple Mattress, and a large bathroom with walk in shower, jetted soaking tub, and walk in closet. The second bedroom includes a king size sleep number bed, a traditional queen bed, and a half bathroom. The third bedroom has 2 twin size beds and is perfect for the younger family members. All bedrooms furnished with a flat screen TV.
The living room includes a large sectional, flatscreen TV, and a wood burning fireplace with a gas start (Fireplace is not available for use at this time). There is also a dedicated office space with a full sized desk, wireless eco tank printer, and a large area perfect for yoga.
There are multiple decks overlooking Lake Hamilton and a private boat dock that can be used in the summer months. Paddle boats, life jackets, and other items are available for rental at an additional charge.
Guest access
You will have full access to the main floor of the house, additional rooms downstairs are not currently occupied, but are not available for guest use at this time, please do not attempt to open any locked doors or closets. Covered carport easily fits 2 cars with additional driveway on side of house.
Other things to note
Pets are allowed with a $400 non-refundable pet deposit which will be requested after booking. You must let us know before your arrival if you plan on bringing pets.
There are minimal steps to enter house, however there are several steps from the back deck down to the yard with lake access.
