Summary: Vassar visitors: stay here! Le Chambord is comfortable and well-maintained. It is a historic property that has clearly been well kept by the Curry sisters! The bedroom was HUGE - furnished beautifully with a desk, dresser, couch, chair, mini-fridge, closet, and a king sized bed. The bathroom was fabulously renovated with a new shower, floor tiles, and countertop. The parlor has a beautiful chess board and Scrabble set - we sat and played in the morning. The continental breakfast was enough - good coffee, tasty pastries, yogurt, and some fruit. Nothing fancy but enough to start the day with! We did not stay for the full restaurant experience (Sunday breakfast at 12). I would definitely stay here again.
