"Indian Pastime" is a beautiful getaway located in Indian Pass Beach, one of the last "Old Florida" seaside neighborhoods. A perfect get away for a couple or small family. A short 1 block walk to a pristine beach offers shelling, surf fishing, and just plain relaxing in a beautiful and special place. Dolphins and shore birds may be seen cruising the coast, just an amazing site. Sunrises and sunsets are quite spectacular. The neighborhood is great for golf carts and biking and walking. Beach permits are required for driving on the beach and can be purchased at the offices of Gulf County in Port St. Joe. Boating is easily accessed from the boat ramp less than a mile away. Across from the boat ramp is beautiful St. Vincent Island, a 12,000 acre uninhabited wildlife refuge. You can get to the island by boat, canoe, kayak or the local shuttle service. St Joseph Peninsular State Park, voted top beach in America in 2002 and always in the top 10, is just minutes away. The historic "Indian Pass Raw Bar" is just around the corner along with many restaurants, art galleries, and music venues in nearby Port St Joe and Apalachicola. Come and experience the peace and quiet of "Old Florida's" forgotten coast. Our home is ground level with spacious rooms and very private back yard. There are 2 bedrooms (max 4 guests), 1 bath, a den and laundry room with washer and dryer. The living room has a flat screen tv and the den has a stereo system to listen to "Oyster Radio" and relax. Outside the kitchen door are wrap around decks and patio overlooking a beautiful and very private backyard. There is a fish cleaning station, bench seating and an outdoor shower, newly built with running hot and cold water. A large driveway can accommodate your car and golf cart. The home is on a quiet street in a charming neighborhood with very friendly people. Our home is PET FREE, we will not accept any bookings with pets of any kind. The owner has allergies and this rule is mandatory. You will enjoy the spacious home with native vegetation and peace and quiet. Our piece of paradise to share with you.
