Our cabin seems rustic, full of rough wood and handmade details that our father included when he built it in the 80s. But while seemingly rustic, it is warm, comfy, and charming. As its name indicates (Escape to Campbell's Creek), the cabin has no wi-fi and little to no cell reception. There's a landline should you need to call out or receive calls. It is truly an escape!
The downstairs has an ample living space with a living room (with working fireplace), dining room (seats 6 comfortably), bar area, kitchen, and one and a half baths. The full bath has a claw foot tub along with a shower.
Adding to the cabin’s allure are two large outdoor porches. The back porch looks down on Campbell's Creek. It has 3 rocking chairs -- offering the perfect opportunity to surrender to nature and be lulled by the sounds of the Creek. The front porch includes a large retro cooler, benches, and a picnic table.
The upstairs has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen size bed while the adjoining bedroom has two twin beds. The bedrooms’ greatest charm is each room's lovely balcony overlooking the forest. Here you can gaze at the stars and the moon as they play hide-n-seek among the trees. The upstairs also has a half bath.
There is no WI-FI, no cell phone reception, no tv, or any of the other modern day gadgets. And we like it that way. You may discover you do too.
Among our cabin's many unique features is the wooden bridge our father built to cross Campbell's Creek.

There is no AC, but it is rarely needed. But all rooms have fans. And there is a great cross-breeze. In the winter there is heat on the first floor and a fireplace. The landlord provides dry wood.
