Completely private apartment with private entrance, porch sitting area & no shared spaces. Neighborhood is safe and residential, very walkable 0.5mi from Pearl, Riverwalk and the Strip. Professionally decorated w new kitchen appliances, countertop and bathroom. Large bedroom has King memory foam mattress & ensuite bathroom (rainfall showerhead). Full sized sofabed in living rm. Full kitchen includes microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle. Enjoy meals in the breakfast nook or front porch.
The space
We love that we can walk to the best of San Antonio from this quiet residential neighborhood property- the Pearl (upscale shops & check out the Sat/Sun Farmer’s Market!), the Strip (nightlife with bars, clubs, restaurants and shops), the Riverwalk are all located 0.5mi from the home. Within a mile radius excellent restaurants and shops abound (see our “Best of SA” AirBNB Guidebook for our recommendations). The unit includes the front porch sitting area, perfect for morning coffee & paper (or phone scrolling!) and people watching. This is a friendly neighborhood with a wonderful mix of long time residents and young professionals.

Summary: I can’t say enough wonderful things about this home and the hosts! I stayed here for two months and it truly felt like a dream. The house is a beautiful historic home in Tobin Hill—hands down the perfect location. I grew up in San Antonio and was still blown away by how close it is to everything. Just a couple blocks’ walk and you’re at the Pearl or North St. Mary’s Street, surrounded by the best restaurants, shops, and energy of the city.Inside, the home is both spacious and cozy. The oversized master bedroom has a huge, comfortable bed that’s the perfect retreat at the end of the day. The living room with smart TV and the fully stocked kitchen made it easy to feel at home. The natural light throughout is amazing, with the option to keep it shaded whenever you want. The A/C worked perfectly, with separate controls in the bedroom and living room. One of the prettiest features was the large covered porch, an amazing place to spend afternoons and evenings.The neighborhood itself is full of the kindest people. My morning, afternoon, and evening walks were always filled with familiar smiles and friendly faces—it’s a true community that feels like a family.To save the best for last— The best part of all are the hosts. Michelle is warm, kind, and so quick to respond. She truly goes above and beyond for anything you need, and you can feel her thoughtful energy throughout the home. I am extremely grateful for my time here and would return in a heartbeat.
