This custom designed mid century home, by architect John Walling, was built as the guest home of the adjoining estate, once owned by a famous Hollywood producer. The home is over 4000 square feet of luxurious interior and exterior entertaining space and is located in the Andreas Hills neighborhood, in South Palm Springs, also known as the Bel Air of Palm Springs. Canyon House is approximately 4 miles from the center of downtown Palm Springs.
The home is situated on a large corner lot with a circular drive with mature landscaping with extensive LED landscape lighting. This stunning home features clean lines, walls of floor to ceiling glass and spectacular mountain views.
On your approach to the home, you pass through custom-built doors into a private courtyard.
Upon entering the home your in a spacious living room dining room combination (1500 sq ft) with custom built-in cabinets, gas fireplace and floor-to-ceiling walls of glass which bring the outdoors in. A built-in Sonos sound system is throughout the interior of the home and allows you to create the perfect mood.
Adjoining the living room is a sunken wet bar with pass-through to the rear covered outdoor living area.
Adjacent to the living room is the media room with 65” flat screen TV, large sectional sofa and comfortable chairs.
The newly remodeled kitchen and adjoining breakfast room provide for the perfect opportunities to entertain large groups of guests or intimate gatherings. The kitchen is equipped with double ovens, gas cooktop and espresso machine along with 42” flat screen TV and every kitchen utensil imaginable.
Located in it's own wing are the 2 en-suite guest bedrooms. Each with a private patio with direct access to the pool and spa. Each Room has a 42” flat screen TV’s and the beds are covered luxurious linens.
The master bedroom suite is located on the opposite side of the home, away from the guest rooms, and is comprised of the master bedroom with gas fireplace, 42” flat screen TV with Sonos sound bar, spa bathroom with double sinks, jetted tub and separate shower. The adjoining office is ready for to close that deal with an Apple desktop computer. The Master bedroom suite has two private patios offering sweeping mountain views and direct access to the pool and spa.
The outdoor entertaining area is where most of your time will be spent. Grilling of the viking gas grill, lounging on the plush sofas and armchairs watching the 45” flat screen TV, or dining at the 8 person dining table. The only thing more stunning than the pool and spa, which have changing LED lights and a sheer descent water feature, are the magical mountain views.
A concierge will meet you for check in and give you a tour of the home and be available throughout your stay. They'll also be there to check you out.
