Calling all lovers of the red, white, and blue! Liberty Cabin is all decked out in a patriotic theme with a hilltop view not to be missed. Secluded in the midst of 13 acres of forested hills and valleys, it’s a place where you can relax in oodles of peace and quiet. Fido is invited, too, if he is well behaved and house-trained.
The nice big great room is a fine place to share a hearty country breakfast. The modern kitchen. has all the stuff you need to prepare meals for your crew and a large table for all to gather round. A flat-screen 65" TV sits on the mantle above the gas-log fireplace, and you can cozy up together on the couch as you watch the flames flicker. There is broadband unlimited internet access available for checking emails, searching the internet but not for streaming services.
Two bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, plus a sofa sleeper allows comfy accommodations for guests at Liberty Cabin. Additionally, the cabin’s 2-½ baths will ensure that nobody has to stand in line very long to get all prettied up for dinner on the town.
Downstairs, you’ll find a second fireplace and comfortable seating, as well as a ping-pong table, and a pool table too.
Outside on the deck you’ll find a handy-dandy grill for making some mouth-watering ribs, chops, or burgers; but then a fire-grilled hot dog is pretty hard to beat, isn’t it? Jump into the steamy hot tub for some friendly repartee. It’s such a good spot to recount today’s activities, or plan tomorrow’s agenda. Be sure to bring your binoculars so you can investigate the area wildlife up close and personal. With 13 acres to explore, you’re sure to see all manner of flora and fauna that you may not have access to back home.
Just a few miles up the road is where you can challenge your cabin mates to a fast and furious game of paintball, or take a guided ATV tour through the woods. If horseback riding sounds appealing, or if you’ve always wanted to try riding the ziplines, you can find these activities at venues such as Valley Branch Resort/eXplore Brown County, or Rawhide Ranch.
We invite you to enjoy some great antiques shops, artists’ studios and galleries, and of course there are abundant shops in Nashville, where you can search for your favorite accessory for yourself or your home. Bean Blossom is a little village just 5 miles north of Nashville, and home to Bill Monroe Memorial Park, the site of many a bluegrass music festival for the past 50 years. Entertain yourselves by attending a movie, a musical event, or a play at the Brown County Playhouse. Country line dancing fans can scoot their boots in time to the music at Mike’s Dance Barn…about 4 miles west of Nashville. We are proud to be home to Brown County State Park, (Indiana’s largest park) where picturesque roads to drive, and trails for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking lead visitors throughout its 16,000 acres of natural beauty.
