Y’all, this house is all about LOCATION & staying in a quaint home with lots of charm. You can easily WALK to the commercial area of the Riverwalk (restaurants & bars), to the Alamo, Convention center, Alamodome & more. 87 walkability score! This listing is for the left side of the duplex which features 2 bedrooms, 1 full private bathroom, living room, dining room, working kitchen & outdoor patio w/ grill.

You are renting the entire left side of the duplex. This means you will have full access and private use of your own front porch and backyard. The space includes your own living room, dining room, full working kitchen with gas cooking and 2 bedrooms. The master features a king sized bed and the second bedroom has bunk beds.

You will have full access to the entire left side of the duplex which includes its own private front porch, entrance and private backyard with deck & grill.

I’m available anytime but prefer to give my guests their privacy. I can be reached via text, email and/or phone anytime. I live only 10 minutes away so I can quickly respond to any guest needs. Please note, we do have exterior security cameras on the property. This is to help us keep the property safe & secure while we are not there. Please be aware they are only monitoring the exterior of our home.

If walking isn’t your thing, you can rent bicycles through BCycle or motorized scooters through Bird. You can also hire Uner or Lyft. The location is extremely sought after but the house also offers a lot of fun options for you to enjoy.

Summary: For those attending a conference at Gonzales, this place is an easy 20 minute walk from the center. The home itself is well-equipped with a number of thoughtful touches. The location itself is on a quiet street with older single-story bungalows, but one that appears to be in the early stages of gentrification. While I never felt unsafe, those who were at the convention who knew the area seemed to be concerned for my security/safety because of the neighborhood. So, take that all for what it’s worth, and adjust expectations if necessary! Hosts were communicative when they needed to be in touch with me, but a couple of texts I sent went unanswered. Nothing critical or I would have followed up. Overall, the home was a good value and I’d stay again if traveling alone.
